SUMMIT: 360˚ Assessment

SUMMIT

The Summit is a process of learning your top three weaknesses, and your top three strengths related to 18 specific relational competencies.
Why? So you can more intentionally pass along your strengths and you can shore up your weaknesses with an accountable game plan.

The story...

When I was the Pastor of leadership development at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls Idaho, I developed this process with one of our elders Dr. Dan Cullum, and one of the Executive Pastors, Lance Wigton. We took 40+ different relational competencies and boiled them down to the 18 that we felt were the most biblical and measurable. Then, in a series of retreats we took over 120 staff, elders, and leaders through a process of discovering their top 3 strengths and bottom 3 weaknesses. I dedicated countless weekends along with Brandon Guindon, and various others as we facilitated these retreat workshops over the years. It is very difficult to get meaningful feedback in ministry. This is a tool to help you get some feedback from multiple relationships around you, compare that to your self assessment, and meet with God on those strengths and weaknesses.

Who is this for?

This is designed for small group leaders, elders, pastors and teachers of the Gospel of Jesus. It works great as a staff retreat, or leadership huddle for your team.

Each session in the Disciple-Shapes Series is a short video using a simple drawing to illustrate a message that anyone could then go and teach someone else. These videos a ideal for anyone that wants to equip passionate servants of Jesus Christ! Please enjoy them and pass them on!

What does Summit cover?

7+Relationships:

First, I will collect input from a minimum of 7+ different relationships.

•  You (self-assessment)
•  Your spouse
•  Closest friends/Mentors
•  Co-workers
•  Volunteers
•  Managers/Elders/Overseers

The seven relationships you choose will all anonymously assess you online.
The results will be collected, averaged, and presented to you according to the themes that are revealed.
This 360 degree view will help us to get a very good picture of how you are impacting the people around you.

18-Relational Competencies:

Then, we will meet to go over the findings.
There are 18 individual competencies that you will be able to sort through to find your top 2 strengths, and your bottom 2 weaknesses.
Once you have chosen the areas you want to work on you will receive 3-6 specific Bible studies to complete that are unique to your particular strengths and weaknesses.
